History
Almost two years ago Connie and I moved to Malvern. What a change from the western United States. Out there America has mountains that reach over 13,000 feet into the sky. Out here, we have trees of all different shapes and sizes. In the western United States, you may have to drive a couple of hours to get to the next Christian Church. In Ohio, the closest Christian church may be five miles away. We are excited to live here. Our church is our home. The people here are wonderful. We look forward to every day in ministry with FCCM.
Education and Employment
I am a graduate of Platte Valley Bible College, B.A., and Lincoln Christian University, M.A., MDiv. I hope to continue my education at the doctorate level. My ministry experience includes twenty years of located ministry in Wyoming, nine years of missionary work in Russia and four years as a professor and academic dean. I look forward to a long ministry with this congregation.
Vision
I am especially excited about the growth of FCCM. We are looking forward to offering well developed ministries for our children, youth and adults -- the entire family.
Family
Connie and I have three grown children -- Rebekah, Melinda and George. Rebekah and Ben Stone have given us two vivacious grandsons, Caleb and Kyler, and a beautiful grand daughter, Karis. Melinda and Erik have given us three grand daughters, Kathrine, Lydia and Hannah. And then Isaac came their way. What a treat it is to have seven grandkids. Can't wait to get them altogether. Our son George is single. We're still looking for a fine young woman to direct his way.
Hobbies
Connie loves music. She plays the piano, accordion and organ. She also sings in the choir. While I enjoy music, It's not at the top of my fun things to do. I enjoy reading, traveling, fishing and eating international foods.
